Glassy Wednesdays

Join us every last Wednesday of the month!
Meet Viviane Stroede. Sculptor, mixed media artist, and our lead gaffer, Vivi first came to Berlin Glassworks in 2017 as an intern, stepping away from a world of conflict studies, communication, and literature. She then signed up for a class, and following that first gather, first try was a perfect bubble, popped dead-center. Her instructor said: yeah… that doesn’t happen often… 🙂
Since then, Vivi has grown into a core part of the studio — now co-owner, lead gaffer, and an artist who brings real depth into her work. She works across sculpture and mixed media, but glass is her anchor.
Come spend the evening with us on April 29th, get to know Vivi, hear her story, and celebrate one year of Glassy Wednesdays!
Free public workshops!

Multaka Workshops 2026
The Multaka-Glassworks Workshops continue a long-standing collaboration between Multaka and the Studio, fostering cultural exchange through craftsmanship, shared learning, and artistic dialogue. Each workshop connects museum collections with hands-on making processes, allowing participants to engage directly with cultural heritage while developing practical skills in glass and interdisciplinary artistic practices.
Youth Program

Kiez Mobil – Glassmaking on the Move
Since 2017, our mobile workshop has traveled across Berlin—into schoolyards, refugee homes, youth centers, and public spaces—creating access to a material and a tradition that is rarely within reach. What usually requires specialized equipment and years of training becomes, through the Kiez Mobil, immediate, tactile, and open to all. Get in touch with us to book a workshop!
